Teddington – Small Garden
This garden was looking rather dull and uninspiring. It suffered from being shaded by too many trees and yet a new tree was required to improve the privacy from the buildings to the rear.
So, a couple of trees were removed, and an attractive Acer was sourced and planted.
Then by extending the patio, the garden was improved so that it was easier and more comfortable to sit and dine outside. The lawn was reshaped to create wider flower beds, allowing the planting to be improved, resulting in a longer period of interest from flowering shrubs and perennials.
Another problem area was adjacent to the workshop. The existing bark-chippings were replaced by re-laying some of the existing patio paving. This provides a better surface to work upon and an area for growing herbs and plants in pots.
In addition, a bin storage unit and BBQ were relocated so they were no longer eyesores.
We installed two timber arches to increase privacy, and to provide support for beautiful, scented, flowering climbers.
The clients and their family and friends have been delighted with the renovated garden, and have enjoyed many hours relaxing, reading, or pottering in the garden.
